2017 Chap Goh Mei

Traditionally, the 15th and last day of Chinese New Year, called Chap Goh Mei, is also known as Chinese’s Valentines Day, and what better ways it is, than to spend it with your team-mates.

On the 11th, we raided May Chong’s house, for lunch and dinner. We had steamboat, tomyam, raw chicken (yup, raw), and (amazing - thank you very much Cindy Ng) sour pork trotter. As per the required custom, our traditional Hunters Team spent the next few hours fulfilling our ancestral duties by gambling.

The very next day, we went to Jason Wong’s place for another lunch. Celebrated his mother’s 75th birthday, and watched Moana on his spectacular TV, thereafter we proceeded to lose more money to the bosses’ amazing aptitude for gambling.
